Positive Quote of the Month…
“Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are.” – Mason Cooley
I picked a quote from Le Miserable by Victor Hugo for May’s Positivity Quote. This month it’s this quote that is reminding me why I love books so much. The past few months I haven’t been reading that much. I’ve been more stuck on knitting an endless amount of projects and watching tv and movies. Just your average mind numbing things… oh and playing Animal Crossing.
Now this month I’m taking that quote and I’m reading more. I just finished reading Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins and I loved it! Now I’m picking up where I left off from the 5 other books I’ve been reading. I have a lot of reading plans for this month, but the biggest one is to just read for the love of it. I’m no longer making a tbr list that will make me feel like it’s going to be a chore to read. I just plan to read the 500+ books I physically own. Yup. 500+ books. I cataloged all my physical owned books on the Book Buddy Ap which helped but now I see that I have about 400+ books I need to read. 1 bookshelf crammed with books (photo above), 2 book carts that I absolutely love, and then about 4 containers under my bed filled with more books.
So please books, take me away while I can’t go anywhere.
