Adventuring back to The Hobbit
“In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit.“
That quote has my attention every time. The last time I read this book was back in 2001, before the first Lord of the Rings movie. I fell in love with The Hobbit and read through the book and the trilogy of the Rings really quickly. So far I’m past the halfway mark. What helps is that this book is a little shorter than the other books, and the chapters are also short.
My reread has been going ok. I have hoped to finish the Hobbit already and be off to the Lord of the Rings adventures, but other books have also gotten in my way. So I’ve been reading Hobbit during the day. And now I’m even listening to the audiobook too while I’m busy knitting.
“Never laugh at live dragons, Bilbo you fool!”

I just recently finished rereading The Hobbit myself. I listened to it this go around and enjoyed the narration. I’m moving on to The Fellowship of the Ring in April.
