Top Books on My Summer Reading TBR

Books on my Summer TBR…

For some (late) Top 10 Tuesday here’s my Summer Reading hopefuls… or more likely my #20BooksOfSummer20 reading goals for the challenge hosted by Cathy at… and also the Summer Listening Challenge… and other reading plans and current reads… oh and also my local library’s Summer Reading Challenge too…

First off, here is my current reads that I’m hoping to finish this month…

House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A. Craig for a read along for a Bookstagram club a few months ago. Hoping to finally finish this.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer for a reread with Treppy13 and rumivdbossche1985 & others for the #TwilightYouKnowYouWantToReadAlong buddy read on Bookstagram.

Coming Around Again… my other tbr books for Summer…

Summer Days and Summer Nights: Twelve Love Stories (edited by Stephanie Perkins). Started reading some of these short stories last summer so hopefully I can finish it this summer.

Moby Dick by Herman Melville is another book I started reading last summer. Going to try this once again, maybe even try listening to a podcast that I found from Bookstagram. Dylan is a cool guy and I’m looking forward to listening to his Knight Reader Podcast.

Jaws by Peter Benchley is another book I thought I’d try reading last summer and also a buddy read with some awesome bookstagram people. The buddy read was called #JawesomeReadAlong and we all agreed that the movie was definitely a lot better than the book.

And now for something a little more different… other tbr books that I’m looking forward to…

Well Played by Jen DeLuca (Well Met book 2). I know that this book doesn’t come out until September but dang I want to read it so much! I got the first book Well Met by Jen from and read it straight away. I really loved it! I am tempted to read it again before I read the new book but I think I’ll read one of my of Book of the Month books first. Either way I am very excited for this book and have even been trying to get an arc from but nothing yet. Fingers crossed.

Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. I’m adding this mostly because of the oldish Stars tv show Black Sails. I absolutely loved that show… well I still haven’t finished watching all the episodes so I’m thinking that I’ll maybe be reading this book while finishing the show Black Sails. Also I am soooo tempted to get this book edition! The book cover looks awesome!

As for any other books for my Summer Reading I am playing it by my mood and also maybe some from my #20BooksOfSummer20 list that I made. Well that’s a maybe list as I want my reading to be for fun and not a chore so this is all a tentative tbr of course.

What are you reading this summer?
